Les phrasal verbs constituent le plus grand écart entre l'anglais d'un apprenant et celui des sections de compréhension orale du TOEIC : à l'oral, on les emploie systématiquement à la place du verbe formel — call off plutôt que cancel, look into plutôt que investigate, fill in plutôt que complete. Cette première série les construit à partir d'un tableau de verbes et de particules.
