How long is the TOEIC test?
Two hours: 45 minutes of Listening (100 questions) then 75 minutes of Reading (100 questions), for 200 questions in total.
How is the TOEIC scored?
Each section is converted to a 5–495 scale, giving a total between 10 and 990. The exact conversion varies by test form and is not published by ETS, so any online calculator gives an estimate, not an official result.
Is the test on this site a real TOEIC?
No. It is practice in the official format, with a score projected on the same scale. Only ETS issues an official score.
What is a good TOEIC score?
It depends on your goal. Many employers look for 750 and above, and a number of universities require 785, which corresponds to CEFR level B2.
Do I need an account to practise here?
No. No signup, no payment. Your progress is kept in your browser.
Has the TOEIC format changed?
Yes, in 2016. Error identification was removed and Part 6 became a text-completion task. Many free sites still publish the old format.
